Ironbridge Gorge
Beautiful countryside surrounds the site and it’s a real find for the walker – exploring the Long Mynd and the Cardingmill Valley. Also the Shropshire Way long distance path runs a short distance from the site.
We are just 7 miles from the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge and the river Severn. The world heritage site at Ironbridge is a must with the Gorge, Museums and Bridge. You can also take a boat trip on the River Severn.
Severn Valley Railway
There are steam trains on the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth and World War II aircraft at the RAF Museum Cosford..
There are several National Trust properties in the area including Attingham Park and Dudmaston Hall.
The nearby towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ludlow are all well worth visiting.

Our nearest town is the beautiful ‘black & white’ Much Wenlock, birthplace of William Penny Books, the founding father of the modern Olympic Games.
